Solar energy is also produced on the roof. The 8,000 square metre photovoltaic system has the following key data: <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span class=\"break-words tvm-parent-container\"><span dir=\"ltr\">Name plate capacity: 1.1 MWp<br \/>\n<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"break-words tvm-parent-container\"><span dir=\"ltr\">Annual electricity production: 903 MWh <\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li>Tonnes of CO\u2082 avoided over the entire service life: 6,800<\/li>\n<li><span class=\"break-words tvm-parent-container\"><span dir=\"ltr\">Direct on-site consumption: around 65% (more than 500 MWh per year) <\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span class=\"break-words tvm-parent-container\"><span dir=\"ltr\">The PV system significantly reduces the need for grid electricity. Electricity not consumed by the plant or for vehicle charging is fed back into the grid to increase the share of renewable energy.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Sustainability and environmental benefits<\/strong><br \/>\nThe PV system is not only a technical highlight, but also an important step towards sustainability. By using solar energy, timpla can significantly reduce its CO\u2082 emissions. The fact that a large part of the electricity generated is consumed on site also means that timpla is less dependent on external energy sources.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<a
