Cologne-based Energy-as-a-Service provider Einklang secures fresh funding in the millions for a battery-optimized power solution for commercial and industrial customers

Cologne, February 23, 2026 – The Cologne-based company Einklang, specialized in integrated energy solutions for Germany’s mid-sized businesses, has secured €2.2 million in funding. With this capital, Einklang plans to scale its battery-optimised electricity tariff solution for commercial and industrial customers and expand operations to 100 customer sites by 2026. The solution enables these businesses to reduce their electricity costs by 30 to 40 percent. The funding round was led by Vireo Ventures.

By integrating electricity procurement, storage, and consumption, Einklang enables companies to automatically source power when it’s inexpensive and renewable. This helps to reduce price volatility and peak loads, lower grid fees, and improve planning certainty.

Growth capital for scaling solar power on commercial rooftops – hellgrün quadruples revenue in the million-euro range.

Berlin, January 20, 2026 – We are further increasing our stake in the Cologne-based energy startup hellgrün and providing additional growth capital to scale photovoltaic projects on commercial properties. As part of the follow-up financing, Saxovent will become the largest shareholder of hellgrün alongside the founding team.

hellgrün enables the cost-effective implementation of on-site PV and direct power models on commercial rooftops – especially for retail, logistics centers, cold storage, and manufacturing industries. The company manages the entire process, from site assessment and financing to construction and long-term operation.

The reason for expanding the commitment is the strong operational development: hellgrün quadrupled its revenue in 2025 in the million-euro range. From Saxovent’s perspective, this dynamic confirms the scalability of the model and the market demand in a segment where property owners and asset managers are under increasing pressure to pragmatically address ESG requirements and energy costs.

We are expanding our photovoltaic portfolio with a construction-ready ground-mounted project south of Rostock

Berlin, 5th December 2025 – Saxovent Renewables GmbH & Co. KG has acquired a solar park in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern from Milvio Energy GmbH. The construction-ready ground-mounted project, with a planned capacity of around 81.8 MWp, is located south of Rostock. It has an existing EEG subsidy for 20 MWp and offers additional potential for the integration of a battery storage system.

By taking over the project, we are not only strengthening our presence in northern Germany but also significantly expanding our PV portfolio.

Further step in expanding the regional portfolio and agri-PV expertise – strengthening the project pipeline and deepening of the northern strategy

Berlin, 4th August 2025 – Saxovent Renewables has signed an agreement with Orrön Energy’s project development subsidiary to acquire an agri-photovoltaic project with a planned capacity of 76 MWp. Located in north-eastern Germany, the project is designed as an agri-PV plant that combines solar power generation with agricultural use.

Berlin, June 3rd, 2025 – Saxovent Renewables, part of the independent Berlin-based investment company Saxovent, has acquired significant operational parts of the former Fellensiek Group as part of a joint asset deal. The deal includes three rooftop solar portfolios with a total capacity of 13.6 megawatt peak (MWp) – enough to supply around 4,000 households with green electricity every year – as well as the takeover of a large part of the associated project team.

The takeover not only strengthens the Saxovent Group’s presence in northern Germany, but also significantly expands its own rooftop solar portfolio.

Photovoltaic project developer Fellensiek had been forced to file for insolvency in September 2024. The transaction was carried out as part of the Fellensiek Group’s insolvency proceedings under the lead management of PLUTA Rechtsanwalts GmbH. The sales process was managed by the consulting firm GO & Company GmbH, Frankfurt, which specialises in corporate succession.

Saxovent invests together with Vireo Ventures, FJ Labs and IBB Ventures in German reorganisation start-up

Berlin, February 21st, 2025 – Deutsche Sanierungsberatung (DSB), a nationwide energy consultancy and marketplace for refurbishment measures, has secured 3.6 million euros as part of a seed financing round. The investment round was led by Vireo Ventures from Berlin.

DSB was founded in 2024 by three former Enpal employees and advises and supports homeowners in the complete refurbishment of their property. It is based on a digital platform that can be used to plan extensive refurbishment measures, from insulation to solar panels. The company intends to use the fresh capital to further expand its platform, further automate services and grow faster.

The aim of the company is to make energy-efficient refurbishment using PV systems, heat pumps, insulation or window replacement as simple, affordable and transparent as possible. It wants to establish itself as a nationwide central partner that brings single-family homeowners and local tradespeople together.

HANSAINVEST Real Assets finances wind farm portfolio in Germany and first time in France

Berlin, 18. october 2023 – HANSAINVEST Real Assets is expanding its financial commitment in the field of renewable energies and is investing up to €70 million in a portfolio of 10 planned wind farms in Germany and, for the first time, in France. The mezzanine capital is channelled through subordinated loans and profit participation certificates. The Berlin-based Saxovent Group will use the funds together with its French participation H2air for the development of further wind– and solar parks as well as for rooftop systems. The mezzanine financing has a term of up to 22 years. The total output of the financed plants in Germany and France amounts to around 183 megawatts (MW).
